where has the console gone?

Hi all,
I have installed RH8.0 . I found it's quite different from RH7.3, so many software were gone. Among them, i wonder where the console has gone?

Thanks.

CTRL ALT F1-6 doesn't display the console anymore??? Or are you referring to something else?

In the previous version, there is a link referring to a virtual console. How can I create such a link in RH8? Referring to what?

depends on what you're using. in kde, right click and call it konsole, and put "konsole" as the execute path.

in GNOME... well... I don't know.

If you are using GNOME, goto System Tools -> Terminal

I think no matter how advanced the coming new version of distro, Terminial will not be deprecated.
