Post What prompt do you use?

Hey, guys, just wondering... what does your prompt look like? I've seen people use different ones, from just the $ or # to a screenfull of information decorated with ANSI control codes.

Mine looks like this:

All my systems look like this:
Code:
fubar-trona-/home/trona:
where "fubar" is the name of the system, "trona" is my login and "/home/trona" is the current working directory; i.e., it changes when I change to another directory.

Hope this helps some.

My preference is [username]@[computername][path].

Sometimes it can be quite long, as when I'm deep in /opt/lampp/htdocs/blah/blah/blah, but it serves my needs.
