Question What key to press in order to type symbols?

Hello,

My keyboard is set to US-International Keyboard.

I know that when I want to type umlauts, for example , I press " and then the vowel a.

Which key do I need to press if I want to type symbols like alpha, beta, gamma etc... Is there a list of encodings I can refer to somewhere like Windows with its ALT - 4 digit numbers encoding?

I am using Redhat 9.0 and Gnome.

Thanks in advance
