What do I need to do to get xpdf to print?

I have a pdf file that I would like to print. I have opened xpdf, which has a print option, however, whenever I click on the icon, nothing happens. What do I need to do to get this program to print?

I use the KDE GUI desktop
Click on KDE Panel>Graphics>PS/PDF Viewer>File>Print
