web browser that supports automatic configuration script

Morning all,

Im looking for a web browser that supports username & password authentiction against a proxy server. For example our current setup uses a configuration script and uses the NT login id & password for authentication.

Now for me to use linux and still go through our current proxy I need to send a username & password from my browser to authenticate.

Anyone have any ideas???

Regards

Chris

Most all browsers support proxies. Why not simply set it up in your browser.

I can setup the proxy server address in the browsers config but I cannot get access via the proxy as it has not authenticated, so I need to be able to send the proxy server a uid & password.
