Watch me learn!

ok. I have a creative soundblaster pci 128 sound card. Upon running sndconfig --noprobe (probe was finding wrong card), I can select Ensoniq ES1370 (Soundblaster 64/128). Recieve errors aplenty. No sound. Figured out, (thanx to u guyz,) how to bind my mp3s in my win partitions.... now to get them to play whilst I learn. Have updated my RH7 to RH7.2.

Now, from lurking around, I've picked up on this ALBA thing. I just don't think I'm ready to be manually reconfiguring my kernel yet.

RH picked up on my 3DFX Voodoo3 like it was nuthin'
It seems like every list I find of supported hardware, my s-card is on it. What's the deal?

Soundblaster PCI128 (Watch me learn)

Found a fix that did not require me to recompile kernel. After most of a day spent churning thru the net, I found this remarkably easy fix:
Reboot - access BIOS - change to NO PLUG AND PLAY - in ADVANCED -PCI RESUME EXCLUSIONS - interrupt 15 for Legacy ISA.
Reboot - allow Anaconda to find Soundblaster PCI128 (possibly as Ensoniq ES1370x - compatible, so its cool...) and s-card worked like a charm (finally at 4:30 am). I will attribute credit for this fix upon checking history....
