wakemeup

I want an alarm clock program, dammit! NOT cron.

7 days, multiple alarms, easy to activate/deactivate (i.e. via shell command).

There are plenty of these for windows (notably http://www.geocities.com/vinodtandon/cac/)... how come there are none for linux (that I can find)??

I use xmms-alarm - You can wake up to your favorite tunes </advertising>

If you want a buzzing one i'm not sure - apparently there's one made by the KDE team... Tried Google's Linux search engine?

Good luck

I want to be able to run a command! Damn you Mandrake babies! Why must you overcomplicate everything?

Your rudeness is exceeded only by your lack of manners and you won't get any help that way.

And it's not a Mandrake specific task - You would be wanting the same kind of software on any other distro...

So don't blame Mandrake...

xmms-alarm allows you to run a command by the way...
