Question Vmware win2k host and slackware guest


When i create a new shared folder then power up my linux pc it doesn't show up in /mnt/

tried it a few times

isn't there a /dev ice that needs to be mounted to /mnt/hgsf ?

hi

did u use the mkdir command to create the directory under /mnt if yes then the directory will be created and will show up every thime u boot into linux, i have some 4 or 5 directories under /mnt and they r working fine

found the problem
it requires to have vmware tools installed to use that feature, however vmware requires X to be installed.

How can I setup FOLDER SHARE without having X
