Visor Handheld

I have I visor handheld and I would like to be able to install software and connect to my PDA without having to go into windows. I use KDE and I see the palm apps in the menu but I guess I dont know how to initially install the palm to begin with. Its on a USB port.

and on a completly unrelated note, is the anything like getright for Linux? I have 56k modem and still download distrobutions to test so obviously I need a dl manager

Not positive about Palm handhelds but i can help with your 56k problem.

goto Download Dot Com and click "networking" and i found a few download managers for linux.
