Question Using GParted to copy XP installation to a larger HD with Linux already installed?

After installing Fedora 18 on a larger HD on my ThinkPad T60P, I decide I still need XP, which is on the smaller HD replaced.

I wonder if it is possible to use GParted to manually vacate some space on the primary partition to copy the XP from second disk to, then just reinstall the grub bootloader to enable dual boot.

If this is feasible, I can avoid reinstalling Fedora which has cost me a lot of times to get everything work.

Can anyone please share some insight on this?

thanks a lot!

just install windows
but xp will want to replace fedora and install it's own bootloader on top of Grub

install xp
then install fedora

but if you like risks

install xp second
and look in the xp installer for a hidden screen( buried about 3 menus deep - rather well hidden )that has a check box YOU MUST 100% MUST UNCHECK !!!!
it is the " use WHOLE DRIVE " check box
uncheck it !!!

then after you install xp
use the fedora install dvd to FIX GRUB that xp just REPLACED
because you can NOT boot fedora because xp replaced the grub bootloader

ALSO !!!!! very important !!!!!
XP wants to be the FIRST installed OS in the FIRST partition
and have it's own bootloader ON THE MBR
