User admin. How to change a user...

Hi all!

I have setup Debian and Samba. Samba works great (after I added the W2K user in Samba) But now I got a Q. I want the user til have more axx to the file system. So that I can move files (html for the most part) back and fourth between the box'es. How do I do that?

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do... Does user til exists in your smbpasswd file? If not you have to add him there first. Then from your smb.conf file give him the access you need.

I figured it out. Your right. I had'nt added the user in Samba.

I have to say it was easyer that what I had expected to setup Samba. I read so much about the different problems users had with it..
