Unhappy Urgent!!! Please Help!!!


PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

I rebooted my Redhat 9 and i get this:

grub>


and no matter what I type (startx) nothing happens, says invalid command...........HELP PLEASE.......i want to get to GUI screen.....................................

Your not in linux, your in your bootloader. You should get a prompt for linux. In the redhat installer you should get a prompt to install grub.

how do i do that? i am very new to linux...............please help

all i have is a boot disk--all its asking if i want to update or reinstall redhat.......

please help...

Just do the install the way you did before. There should be a screen saying something about grub. Just right the information on the right.

Either try typing 'linux' or try hitting the TAB key and see if any choices come up ..
