Transferring MySQL DB

I have a rather large MySQL DB locally that I need to move to a new server. I've grabbed my .frm, .MYD, .MYI files, but I don't the necessary permissions to drop these on the new server. Does anyone know of any other alternative way for relocating a DB?

Thanks.

Use the safe way and use mysqldump

And if you don't have the permissions, you need to ask the admin of the new server to either allow you access or do it for you by giving them the DB.
