The peer's stratum is less than the host's stratum. (NTP)


When attempting to manual synchronize the XP system time, the following error occurs

An error occurred while Windows was synchronizing with time.windows.com.
The time sample was rejected because: The peer's stratum is less than the host's stratum.

Use another time server. Search Windows forums. Search Microsoft knowledge base. Why is this question in Linux -General anyway?
