The best way to transfer a site!


I have a debian sarge 3.1 2.6.I have problems with a pc and i need to transfer a site i have built with joomla on an another pc and make it avialable as quick as possible.Would be all right just using rsync for example?Do i need to copy the entire LAMP?Joomla has a backup component how do i use it ????

Just my thoughts:
Make sure all the LAMP components on the new server are similar to the old server and compatible with Joomla. Then just tar or rscync over. And make sure you take a database dumb and import into the new database with the proper login and db names.
