Question Telnet\Ftp not working: Workstation vs Server install question

I have installed RH linux 6.2 on different systems and usually pick custom install and select most of the generic packages. However, I installed workstation this time and found that telnet or ftp do not work. I can not find any /etc/inetd.conf files.

So can I get these services to function on workstation install or do I have to upgrade to Server and

if so, how do I do that, because when I pick upgrade option, I can't see how to configure the system as a server

Thanks

Just use your (X) rpm tools and browse the cd's for inetd or xinetd, tcpwrappers, telnetd and ftpd. You *really shouldnt* install telnetd tho, better go safe, use sshd.
