cleanup your home directory of those hidden folders for your browser

do not run a binary distro. these have bad default values, these have bad package managers.

"open something" indicates binary distro + bad setup webbrowser.

usually you run the software, not the software runs you.
i suggest using a distro which has less of htose automatic scripts for certain tasks, like update-grub, networkmanager, ...

It's meant to be a joke because I'm usually using a outdated version of Linux. Within the next month, I'm going to update my go to desktop to Mageia 6 or Centos.

If I had the time I would run a 'compiled from source' distro as a learning tool. How do you get anything done with a binary distro? How do you get away from 'dependency hell'?
