Unable to resolve server, and Connection Timed out. I'm on a very fast connection, and I am kind of confused as to why I cannot connect to the irc servers.
Also, I am considering getting rid of my swap space, can I just remove it somehow? Or do I need to re install everything to change my partitions?
To add this above would've made more sense, but my MSN messenger also does not work here. AIM works, but no MSN. I can browse the web, ftp, ssh, and all that fun stuff, often times at 600KB/sec, but MSN messenger, and irc just doesn't work.
do you by chance have this stuff blocked in your firewall configuration? and if you search this site you will find numerous threads about people wanting to resize there partitions and actually there is one that was posted a couple hours ago with a guy wanting to get rid of his swap, so you'll find numerous threads about this stuff...
