 consolefont                                                        [ started  ]

/sbin/chkconfig -levels 12345 network off

Or edit each ifcfg-eth0 and ifcfg-eth1 in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ to display:

ONBOOT=no

Instead of

ONBOOT=yes

What distro are you running? You're profile says Red Hat 8, as far as I know, there should be a /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts directory or you're not using Red Hat.
