Question

I have DSL and am using a RH 6.2 Linux Box to masq traffic to my network. Speed tests from multiple places are reporting an average 200-300 kps on all my masq'ed computers (windoze) but my Linux box reports 600+ kps (which is what I am supposed to have). Any idea how I can increase this speed? Is it a problem with windoze? Can it be tweaked (windoze or linux)?

My Linux System is a Pentium 233 mhz, 96 MBS Ram, and two Netgear 10/100 cards. Using a 10/100 switch for network connectivity and all masq'ed windoze machines are using 10/100 network cards.

Well, I have cable modem running with my network at home, when I download through Windows, I average around 50kps to 150kps. When I boot into Linux, this increases to or from 300kps to 800kps. Seems to me it might be a problem with Windows, but I am not complaining though, I do most of my downloads in Linux.
