sorry ive run out a bit


I've just installed fedora core 4, but seldom it display a message "Sorry i've run out a bit". What does this mean?

I think you mean it "occasionally" or "sometimes" displays the message. "Seldom" has more the sense of "almost never". (No charge for English lessons.... )

What are you doing when this message comes up? eg does it happen during boot up?, opening a program?, etc.

Oh sorry. I mean the message often comes up. I dont know actually. I think since i've used the Up2date to install packages, the message starts to appear. Whats the problem?

Please try to give us some specific examples---what exactly were you doing when the message appears?

when the message appears, i just lick ok, and it dissapears. Then the message appears again. Did the same thing over and over again.

Sounds like the Gaim default away message that comes up when you're idle for too long. Is gaim running? (the little "gaim man" icon is in the system tray)?

It's the little guy inside your computer who remembers all your open programs. Don't worry though, he'll be back soon.

I get this message when Kopete is running. Its just a chat program like MSN, and when your screensaver has been on it sets your status to away. "Sorry ive run out for a bit" is just your "Away from Computer" message. You can change it to whatever you want.
