I am using Redhat 8 and Kde with Opera 7.11, and i cannot figure out how to save a url as a shortcut on my desktop like in windows how you can right click and save to desktop, or how can i just save the url in a folder so i dont have to use operas bookmarks, Thanks
Dude, thats very simple. Right click on the desktop. Go to "create new" from menu, and then select "link to location (URL)" . The rest is straight forward.
The only think is, it will open the konqueror browser instead of opera.
