shell script looping

I am new to write the shell script , could someone can help me ,

I want to have a shell script for testing , the shell only need to loop repeatly (non-stop), I want to test the CPU time , could someone can post the script ? thx in advance.

thx reply , the loop is work, but I have one more requirement , I found that when the script is working (looping) , the CPU is still in "Sleep (S)" mode not in "Running (R)" mode ( check by ps -el |grep process ) , could suggest how to make the CPU running ? thx
