share partitions

hey i was recently just thinking about how there are apps to mount linux partitions in windows and windows partitions (with writing) in linux.

windows is so persistent of have a "my documents" folder but with linux i can have a seperate partition for /home . my question is: is there a way to set it up such that the "my documents" folder and my /home are the same place such that i dont have to look in two different fodlers of personal files to find what i need.

by the way may be usful to say only one user name on windows and one on linux so it isnt like i am doing this for more than one user....

in w32, you can change your default "my documents" directory by right-clicking "my documents" in the start menu. in linux, you can use mount --bind to point /home or /home/anydir to the location of "my documents" folder.. or maybe reverse just play around with it.
