shadow of the raised terminal

Dear friends,
plz check the attached image...its a screenshot from mac(I got it from web)where i see a shadow around the connect to server box. can I do this in my linux as well? how? I use Mac4lin theme.

I have compiz installed and search through gconf-edit, but not sure what to do.plz help.

This is dependent on you having accelerated drivers I think. Moreso it is dependent on your window manager. I would check your theme settings.
