send mail from Linux Redhat 3 AS


is there any way to send for us to send email from the OS???? if yes, could someone please give me some instructions???

In the terminal you can use:

mail person@somewhere.com


Type your message, hit Enter, type "." without the quotes, Enter again.

Should work if your OS has been correctly configured, unfortunately I won't be able to help you there...
