Selinux

Hi, I was just wondering, SELinux has been developed by the nsa, and they are known for spying everything. So aren't there any confidentiality issues about this ?

Well, if they had added spyware to the kernel it probably would have been noticed by other people within a couple of days, thanks to the fact that the source code is freely available. CIA developed SELinux solely as a reseach project... so they chose the linux kernel as platform because it's free and well documented

I wasn't thinking of spywares, but more of things like backdoors etc (just as Microsoft is blamed of with the German government). And even if it was just a project and is well documented, the idea of having something created BY the NSA in linux is a little controversial.
Anyways, is thing feature going to be removable ?

Nah... Thats the Government conspiracist in you saying that.... It was designed 180 degrees from what you are thinking... It was designed so there would be NO back doors. You watch X-Files too much...
