I have a small problem. I set up an ftp server at home, and I want to be able to access it from my school using IE. I could type
ftp://myname@myipaddr, but that would require an insecure connection. That's bad because not only can people sniff (is that the right word?) out my password, I also have to forward my ftp port to my computer, and if i port-forward it, then anybody who wants can use a password cracker to figure out my password easily (believe me, i've tried on other peoples' machines...
)
But windows doesn't come with an SSH client, and I can't install a client like PuTTY on my school's comp, so what way is there to secure the connection without having potential problems?
