Script Backup

I was looking for a simple script backup that will backup picutres I have on one hard drive onto another. I would also like it to output a log to what files it copied. Is the best way about this doing a script or a hard link between the two hard drives?

Best way is a backup script that doesn't creata a link. The problem with a link is that it has only one copy. So effectively, with a link, you don't have a "backup" copy.

End
