SATA controller and SSD device

Hi All

I have one Marvell SATA controller. One SSD(intel hard disk) is connected with one port of SATA controller. I want to know what are the files to be looked to get the knowledge of how to read/ write the SSD..
I referred drivers/ata/ahci.c which gives only initialization of SATA controller only.
Pls tell me what are the files to be referred for getting knowledge of DMA programming of SATA controller and read/write in to device.

Thanks in advance

Regards
siva
