S3 ProSavage and 2.6 kernek and XFree86

During installation of Fedora my intergrated video is identified as S3 ProSavage KM133. I thought it was mis-identified, not so. I went to the VIA webpage to get the facts. Well, I've accumulated several files to correct this problem. I have the 2.6 kernel patch, xfree86 4.3 and a savage driver from Probo's site, xf43sav-27.tgz. and when I look in RH8 System Settings Advanced there is a listing for S3 SavagePro4(generic).

RH8 identified the board as VESA (generic) during installation and it works mostly.

What combination will get my ProSavage video working in Fedora?
