I want to switch my Linux OS and have DLd the ISOs for the one I want to switch to but I don't really feel like paying up the $70 for Nero to burn them, is there anyway to run them from the HD? Thanks in advance
there are plenty of free cd burning programs for linux and you probably have one installed already. if not, i'm sure a couple are on your CDs ready to be installed. Just look around.
K3b is a good bet. If you don't mind the command line, there's cdrecord.
On many installation procedures, you can just boot with a floppy installation kernel and specify the installation files on the hard drive ie. /dev/hdax /aaa/whatnot.
