Run a WM through ssh X tunneling

Hi, I'm nto sure if this is possible, or worth doing, but here goes:

I finally got ssh configures so it can work X applications remotely, as in the idea is once you'v sshed, then you do something like xterm & to open a x-terminal on the local box.
Which is great!

But is there a way to be actually using a remote windows manager?
As in i use fluxbox, can i through ssh start flux, or some other WM, so it looks like i am at the box, if oyu know what I mean
A PC-anywhere sort of thing

It would be cool If i could set it up, its not problem otherwise since I can use the x-apps anyways.
ALso, is there any security risk doing this?

Thanks

Very easy. VNC is a virtual desktop. It starts an imaginary window manager (well, virtual, you don't even need a graphics card on the server), which is a full fledged desktop of your choice (per the user settings or whatever you want in ~/home/.vnc/xstartup file.

The great thing about this is that you can feed VNC through SSH and have the complete remote virtual window system displayed locally. Search her for VNC and SSH, but basically, you use SSH forwarding to send the VNC stream to the local machine.
