Remote video monitoring

I'm looking for a low budget way to do remote video monitoring of a vacation home. I would like to set up a couple of cameras and be able to dial in to check the condition of the main room and driveway. There is no broadband service, telephone only so it has to be via modem.

You could use camE or camserv, and have a little webserver
running on that machine, and a modem that listens to incoming
connections.

The other approach would be to have one of those projects
and have that program dial out, and update a website, or
send a pager message in case something IS going on ...

Cheers,
Tink
