Below is the setup I have for Linux Professional 7.3 and it's currently running with Oracle and everything work great.

the question is can I configure the same set up as above for my new box which run Redhat Linux Advance Server 2.1. Is anything you would recommend to change????

If that configuration and layout is working for you currently, I wouldn't see any reason to change it up too much. It's really a personal type decision as you know your network better than we do.
