RAID disk failure interrupt notification?
Hi group,
I have installed a Fedora Core 12 Linux system onto a RAID 1 file system. I now need a way of getting an notification if the disk fails. Is there an SNMP MIB that covers Intel RAID? I have done the searching but still the answer alludes me. Just looking for a quick pointer.

The answer is dependent on the kind of RAID you're doing: Software? (mdadm, vxvm? some other tool?) or Hardware? (Dell PERC?, HP Proliant RAID Controller? LSI? some other?). You'd need to determine that information and research it based on those findings.
