Problems with partition superblock

Hi Folks,

I have a RH 2 nodes Cluster, where both nodes are tied to an external storage. On this storage we have 2 logical drives md1 (RAID1) and md0 (RAID5). The arrays are assembled via scsi controller and we are using multipath, as we do have 2 adapeters per box.

The problem is that since last friday, none of the md volumes can be mounted. If I try to run e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/md0 (or md1), I receive a message stating:

"The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), the the superblock is corrupt ...."

I already tried replacing the 8193 by all the backups of superblock, but it seems that the whole thing got damaged.

Any clues on what else can be tried?

Thanks in advance,

AL
