problems in loding e100 module during startup

Hello everyone,

After i installed a 2.6 kernel (initially 2.4 kernel, ). I had installed the newer version of modutils. but now when i boot with the 2.4 kernel the e100 module alone fails to load during startup( this problem disappears when i boot with 2.6). but later once the 2.4 is up, i am able to do a modprobe e100 and load the module.

Can anyone help me to fix this prob so tha I can load it during startup.

Thx

strange indeed, you could always add it (modprobe e100) to one of your boot scripts (in the /etc/init.d directory) yourself...
