Each time system is rebooted I get a message " lpd get localhost xxx bad localhost could not look up internet address for xxx" . I have to open a terminal and run hostname command with correct hostname and then log in again to get correct hostname. When shutting system down message for lpd says " failed". At next boot same thing happens again with wrong hostname.
Check your /etc/sysconfig/network file to make sure the proper hostname is entered there.
Specifically, look at the "HOSTNAME=" and "DOMAIN=" lines. If they don't contain the correct host/domain names, edit the file to make it so.
