i installed the new kernel: 2.6.16.20, that work fine

when i tried to build the driver for my web cam (with root access) i get:

Code:
linux64:/home/collinm/Download/spca5xx-20060501 # make
Building SPCA5XX driver for 2.5/2.6 kernel.
Remember: you must have read/write access to your kernel source tree.
make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build SUBDIRS=/home/collinm/Download/spca5xx-20060501 CC=cc modules

make: *** [default] Error 2
/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.20-20.1-obj it's not empty

Code:
linux64:/home/collinm/Download/spca5xx-20060501 # ls -ls /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.20-20.1-obj

maybe a suse problem........

http://software.opensuse.org/downloa...x_10.1/x86_64/

kernel source don't have the correct number....

kernel-default-2.6.16.20-1.1.x86_64.rpm
kernel-source-2.6.16.20-20.1.x86_64.rpm

when i install the source i get

/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.20-20.1-obj
/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.20-1.1-obj

the second folder was empty... but seem the default folder when i build...

ln -s /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.20-20.1-obj/x86_64/default/ /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.20-1.1-obj/x86_ 64/default

correct the problem, now i can build webcam driver
