dox.h:59:22: freetype.h: No such file or directory

is the important line, everthing else maybe because it can't find this particular file.

Install the freetype and/or freetype2 font headers/devel package.

It is telling you that it can't find freetype.h in any of the include locations.

Is it?

Okay, what I've now done is tried to upgrade my freetype-devel package, it's already at the newest version.
I tried installing freetype2, it says it conflicts with my freetype-2.1.3-6.
So should i uninstall freetype-2.1.3-6 and THEN try to install freetype2?

If you have freetype2 then you might just need freetype devel packages too.

You could check the includes to see if you already have a file called freetype.h , and make sure its not the paths to the includes thats messed up.

freetype and freetype2 are not necessarily for the same fonts. So I would be careful.
