print script errors to file?

I am running a script and it is giving a whole lot of feedback errors, I want to have it put everything from the time i execute it until it fails into a file so I can get help here. I usually do "./script >> error.log" but it isnt printing everything to the error.log this time. any suggestions?

Do you still get some output on screen? If so, it's probably the output that goes to stderr instead of stdout.
Code:
./script >> error.log 2>&1
