Port qestions


Guys, this 65535 virtual ports thing, just special to MS Windows
or it also presents in linux too??
Kinda dummy question, sorry guys..

It's not a Linux/Windows thing, it's the processor that defines this. The x86 CPU has 65536 (0 to 65535) hardware I/O ports (nuthin' virtuous about them )
