Port 70000

Hi,

I have a special query. I have redhat linux 8.x. This is only for my test purpose then I can go live. I would like to know whether I can configur sendmail to run on port 70000 instead of 25.

Regards,
Raja

Sure if that port existed. Why not just have it run on 2525 or something like that...

network ports are 0-65535.

I believe you need to edit the sendmail.mc file to change the port # but I do not exactly know how.
