if you asked me i would simply set up virtual hosts, i have done it that way myself.

I'm going to put this on the 'back burner'. Apache Virtuals are getting the job done for now. If/when I figure this out I'll be sure to update this thread with a detailed 'how to' tutorial.

In an earlier post, you indicate you have created an 'apache' sub-directory in each users /home/user directory. If your standard apache works but the php files don't execute, it would seem changing the: user_dir = "public_html" to user_dir = "apache" in php.ini would work although I've never tried doing something like that.
