permission help!


why am i getting 403 forbidden error
when accessing tomcat4/webapps?
(using mod_jk)

[root@beautifulmind tomcat4]# groups tomcat4
tomcat4 : tomcat4 web apache
[root@beautifulmind tomcat4]# groups apache
apache : apache web tomcat4

[root@beautifulmind tomcat4]# chown -R tomcat4.web /var/tomcat4/


[root@beautifulmind tomcat4]# ps --group apache

Well, you gave the group settings, but what are the actual permission settings on the directory and files.. ?

ls -al /tomcat4/webapps
