partitioning qemu-img; share your wisdom and what you got on vhd?

OK, meaning what members here have a partitioned qemu-img
that boots multiple os's via portable-qemu, etc??

I just wanna know how you went about it and what distro's worked,
and did you use grub or lilo?
I am not talking about Vbox or VMware, but specifically qemu
like in dsl-embedded, qemu-puppy, etc.
thanks

I installed different distro into qemu (Fedora, debian), but never tried make it
multiboot.

And I see the point in the multiboot when one install different distros on one physical computer, but with qemu ? Just install new distro on new "disk" and boot
whatever your like (or even both).

Well, thanks for answering.

Now, I'm talking about portable-qemu; not qemu installed to your OS
meaning, it is a combo(and alot of sweat) of dsl-embedded and billix-0.18 to 0.21
I fixed up the scriptsa from both, cause I wanted a dsl-embedded for linux
which dsl-embedded is for windows/billix incl scripts like embedded.

anyway, so I'm mastering this thingy and got lots of portables, but never tried partitioning cause grub/lilo would never install right
now, I have found the secret to it all
I got a 4-distro, multipartition portable-vhd now
( http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-found-732783/ )

but, I'm gonna expand it to have a swap/extended and see how that goes...
anybody here running portable-linux-qemu??
