I installed FC6 from the Linux Pro December 2006 DVD.
Then I bought a Wacom Intuos3 4.6 graphics tablet.
While trying to get it working I found out that 2.6.19 supports it.
I downloaded the 2.6.19.1 source, ran 'make oldconfig' using the .config that came with FC6 and accepted the defaults for the new bits.
The build and install worked, and I had no problems with it until I tried to build a new nvidia driver.
I'm using version 8773, and it fails with an error saying it cannot find linux/config.h.
The only linux/config.h I can find is an old one from 2.6.18, which does not work...
The only thing I can think of is maybe /ust/src/linux isn't pointing to the correct place. Shouldn't you have a file named config.h the include directory of the source?
