ntfs write permissions

i recently re-compiled my kernel to include ntfs write support.
when i try to mount it: mount /dev/hdb1 -t ntfs -o rw /mnt/ntfs
there are no errors...

but when i try to write to a file it says the filesystem is read-only...

what's going on?

Have you seen this:
http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/info/ntfs.html#3.2

Good luck, and be prepared for the WORST, literally.

Cool
