noob install question

Ok, now i have accidentally downloaded the wrong files for Mandrake.
Its possible to install, but i probably should of gotten Mandrake 9.1 ISO CDs, but i didnt see them at first. I chose an Australian FTP, and downloaded all the files, but there not in any format. There are a nubmer of folders, and i am unsure of how to go about installing it. I wanna put it on another PC in my house, but there is no way it will fit on a CD, its around 1.8Gb.

I could send the files to the HD of the other PC, but i still am unsure of how it would be run... in the installation files, it says it should boot of the CD Rom.... wo there for the ISO version obviously.

I found a folder DOS utils, but to run any of those files, im assuming i will need something already installed on the Hard Drive. BUt i have an old 20Gig i wanna install it on.

If i dumped the files onto the 20Gig, and ran some Dos utils, i still dont see how to start an install.... can someone hlp me with that. The Mandrake site says the only 2 required folders are images and Mandrake, so DOSUtils is probably not necessary at all....

you have to go in images and make boot floppies
using the utilities there.

Ok thank you. I worked it out now. The reason for those *.img files importance..... It makes sense when i think about it

Anyways, thanks for that, after starting an install, i decided to take a different approach. Im now moving hte files to Partition E:\ of HDD1, and Formatting HD2 for Linux. Because as i was setting it up, i wanted it on HDD2, but it had the Complete Erase option.... and it woulda also erased the files it was using LOL.

Thanks again, I never new that the installer for this would look so gorgeous
